Verse of the Day

Welcome To Atlanta Christian Assembly

For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. Therefore encourage each other with these words."

WHO WE ARE

We are an evangelical church with burden to care, bear and share. God cares about your soul and so de we. Jesus asked "What will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and loses his own soul?” If you are a seeker of truth you will find us at ACA willing to share the truth and joy of the Lord.

DECLARATION OF FAITH

We Believe…

  • The Bible is the inspired and only infallible and authoritative written WORD of GOD
  • There is one God, eternally existent in three persons, God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit
  • In the Deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, in His personal future return to this earth in power and glory to rule a thousand years.
  •  That all have sinned and come short of the glory of God, and repentance is necessary for all, for forgiveness of sins.
  • That there is no other name under heaven, given among men, whereby we must be saved, other than the name of Jesus Christ.
  • In justification, regeneration and the new birth of faith in the blood of Jesus Christ.
  • In sanctification through faith in the blood of Christ, through the word, and by the Holy Spirit.
  • That Holiness to be God’s standard for living for His people.
  • In the baptism in the Holy Spirit subsequent to Salvation.
  • In speaking in other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance and that it is the initial evidence of the baptism of the Holy Spirit.
  • In water baptism by immersion, and all who repent should be baptized in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.
  • In Divine healing; that redemptive work of Christ on the cross provides healing of the human body in answer to believing prayer.
  • In the Lord’s supper and the washing of the saints feet.
  • In the Blessed Hope; in the pre-millennial second coming of Christ, first to resurrect the righteous dead and to catch away the living saints to Him in the air, second to reign on the earth a thousand years.
  • In the bodily resurrection of the saved and the lost, the one to everlasting life and the other to everlasting damnation.
