We are an evangelical church with burden to care, bear and share. God cares about your soul and so de we. Jesus asked "What will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and loses his own soul?” If you are a seeker of truth you will find us at ACA willing to share the truth and joy of the Lord.

On Saturday, June 5th, 2010 at 7:38 PM (EST), Our Beloved Senior  Pastor Dethose Cherian went to be with the Lord.

Pastor Dethose has left specific requests on how he wants his funeral service conducted. He has already selected individuals to speak during his funeral service. The family will be honoring his wishes and requests.

Pastor Dethose has been a source of inspiration to all of us over the years. His life is a testimony all by itself. He has challenged us to live under God's purpose daily through his teachings, love, support, and prayers. He will be greatly missed and his legacy will continue to live on through each of us.

I Thessalonians 4:16-18 PDF Print E-mail

For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. Therefore encourage each other with these words."

Mission to Honduras PDF Print E-mail
During this trip 16 families received their own homes. The homes were 90% complete and were assigned to families through lots. Due to their close ties to the community, the local church was given the freedom to decide who would be eligible to be part of the pool. All the families who received homes were those that lived in makeshift shelters under rather deplorable conditions. It was common for these shelters (made primarily of mud-stick walls and tin roofs) to be rebuilt on a yearly basis due to the heavy downpour and hurricanes prevalent in the area. Needless to say (with all glory given to God and the body of Christ who helped this ministry), these families were very excited! Excited not only because they could for the first time in their lives able to say that they owned a home, but also because they could now live in a sturdy house where they could safely raise a family.
